Goodies review tres- Cafe Cartel
Went to Plaza Singapura Cafe Cartel on 26th Mar evening. Haha... Was crapping about what happened on Sat in TCC (Mildred broke a glass cup and terrorised the servers there.)
I ordered a Chocolate Mint Frappe, while Mr Piot Wanabe ordered a caramel frappe. I don't really dare to try his because he's down with bird flu. Sorry, I wasn't meant to be cruel. *Evil laughter.
And so hmmm, my chocolate mint frappe... just plain ice blended chocolate. But where's my mint? I didn't manage to eat those small chocolate buttons, perhaps they are the minted flavour chocs. But again, who cares, they are not considerate enough, the chocs buttons cannot be suck through the tiny hole of the black straw. I need spoon, silver one. The frappe 's sweet, real sweet. I'm a bit disappointed though.
For the caramel frappe, I believed it has caramel sweetness, through inferring from my choc mint, it shouldn't be any better. Haha.. Or else, I should ask Mr Wanabe.
By the way, we noticed one interesting thing. One of the waiters got a few thick brushes ( size of blusher's brush) in the back pocket of his jeans. Wonder what he use them for. I told Mr Watabe that the brushes are for applying honey on pork ribs, but the more I think, the more it's too li pu. Hmmm... I'm still pondering. Anyone who knows, tell me por favor, gracias.
We really had nothing to do that day. As we ordered our drinks, we cracked a joke with the waitress. I asked for a HOT ICE-blended coffee. Hmmm... And then....
The waitress didn't get the joke. Perhaps all of you didn't understand it too, because it's a lame joke, too unconvinced. Haha... So that's about it...
Alrite, back to business..
Therefore, I'm giving my Chocolate Mint Frappe (SGD 5 plus) 2.5 hmmms out of 5.
Mr Wanabe rated his Caramel Frappe (SGD5 plus) 2 out of 5 hmmms. He rather drink the frappe from starbucks, because "it (frappe from cafe cartel) tastes like like hmmm, didn't taste like anything, tastes like ice coffee?"

Goodies Review dos- Chomp Chomp Food Centre
Went to Chomp Chomp food centre @ Serangoon Gardens on 26th Mar, Domingo. This is my 1st makan hunt with Qi Xing. I initiated to go Chomp Chomp as I have never been there. I believed in fact there's much more places that a Singaporean have never gone before. So off we go...Qi xing and I met in Serangoon Station. When I reached there, I realised I forgot to check which bus stop to board bus 317, so both of us asked for directions, and at last we still ended in the bus interchange. Hahaha.. All my fault, but it was kinda fun, just like some kind of foreigners in another country. Hohoho
Chomp Chomp was crowded with people at the time we reached (about 5 plus). It reminded me of Newton Food Centre. They have plenty of BBQ Seafood stall, nevertheless sugar cane drinks. There is cha hei mee, cha guo tiao, oyster omelette, etc... Let's see... We ordered the...
1) BBQ Seafood ( Sambal Stingray $8, Chili crayfish $12, kai lan $5, rice $1) from Lucy BBQ
seafood. All the dishes are placed on a leave, don't really know what kind of leave though.
The stingray was nice, soft. A tinge of lime on it taste even better. :)
The hei po (crayfish) was alright. However, I couldn't really taste the real flavour of the dish as the spiciness is overwhelming. Woah! Hot.
The kai lan was duh ok, starchy, msg filled. Haha... U know, nobody will take the effort to choose the leaves of the veggie. I spotted many spoilt veggie in fact, however still ate them. This gave me an excuse to claim for damages if I get stomach-ache. Haha..
The rice was plain white perhaps Thailand AAA rice???
That is why I'm giving it 3 hmmms. I believed there is better BBQ stalls out in Singapore.
2) Satay from ??? Can't remember but think there's only one satay stall there. Haha.
I'm afraid that Qi Xing don't eat beef and pork and mutton so I ordered Chick just in case. Haha
The chicken satays don't taste unique. They are like the norms, dry and hard, though there's one good thing about them, there are more lean meat than fats. Hoho.. Good for calories watchers. The ketupat (did i spelled correctly?) is small and dry too. Satay @ 40 cents and Ketupat @ 50 cents.
Gonna give them 3 hmmms too.
3) Sugar cane juice from the stall beside table no.5
The juice cost SGD2, easy to count but felt it's a bit ex. However, since we are there, shan't miss the sugar cane juice. Sweet, believed that they add lot of syrup. Argh, what a sin.
Gonna give them 3 hmmms too, becos, it's too sweet, bad for dieters and diabetics. Argh...
Too bad we didn't take pics on that day. Forgetful Qi Xing FORGOT to take the pics of the food. Argh...

On 18-03-06, it's the 1st time I tried Tio Gluton.
I wonder what exactly Tio Gluton means? Anyway, it's a cheese cake wrapped in a frosty paper. Nice packaging but easily torn and not oil proof. Haha..
It looked more like a cheese stick than cake. Slick and sophisticated.
There's 2 layers. The bottom part of a crispy base with some bits of sour stuff on top the base. Again, I pondered what those bits are. The upper layer is the cheese cake.
The cheesuto keku needs to be refrigerated. I supposed it will melt.
When taken a bite, hmmmm... Heavenly!
The taste and texture of the cheese cake reminded me of ice cream. The cake is not fluffy but overall, the smell of the cheese is not overwhelming either. It kinda suits me. Hehe.. I loved the smell of the base, so pastry...
That is why I'm going to give Tio Gluton cheese cake a 3.5 out of 5 hmmms.
It's SGD1.20, perhaps it's thin, short but yummy. Worth trying. If you are loaded, you may try buying 5 or 6 ah Tio, and get 1 more ah Tio for free. :)
Met Miszah at Parkway Parade, then we walked to east coast, however we entered the wrong tunnel, in the end, it brought us to another side of the park. Haha... Think we arrived early ( meeting time 4.30pm, our arriving time 4.45pm), haha. Because we only saw Wanlin, Rohaidah, Wirna and JQ at the pit. Kinda sad to hear that the rest will be coming late. Think they are coming when the food is ready. Hehe..
We also celebrated the March babies' birthday. How good! All received presents from Miss Santa Cruz (Wirna). I wondered will there be my turn cos mine is in May, a month where people started to get busy and forgetful. Hahaha.
I saved my stomach for this moment. Ate so much and became so damn full. What a sin, there's curry puff, sausages, crab meat, bee hoon, bbq chicken and salina brought her mother's specialties fried chicken wings. Wao... How full. Argh, ate till my stomach bloated and still da bao some wings back. Hohoho... Now I feel like few months pregnant. :) Luckily tmr's suntan session is postpone to Friday otherwise how to face Sentosa beach? Hahaha..
Wirna's boyfriend came. Wao, though I saw him before, but I still really think they look very alike. Just like the male Wirna. Haha.. Too alike le.. No wonder they are so loving. Hehe.. Luckiest couple, Mizsah they all sama sama. When will be my turn? hehe.. I don't expect someone to be like me though. Aha!
Saw a troop of army having road march thru and forth for like 3 times. Haha... Then Miszah joked that I join them cos' we're wearing the same pants. Haha.. Feel so funny, because we are eating while they see us eat. Hehe... hoohoo who cares anyway... Tempt them with the chicken wings. Jacqueline laughed her famous "hearty laughter" when she saw them. ( becos' she always Ha ha ha ha ha) :).

Chat via msn when he added me yesterday... Simply talked about everything, from movies, tv shows, sports (Why I don't belong to that category), music, cultures and even salsa... haha..
Impression quite good at first cos' I realised we shared several interest. This is the first time I spoke to a guy who loves dancing.. That's so cool.. At least I'm not "alone". Haha..
Not knowing why, feel like talking to an old friend, wondered is it the common interest that made the conversation so interesting. Haha...

Thought the females are the one who really enjoy themselves by being display mannequins, whilst the guys enjoy ogling. Haha... Sounds bad, but I'm just exaggerating the situation.
Perhaps all the effort of preparing and desperate searches of dresses didn't gone to waste. Kudos to people that overcome with mental fatigue due to excessive desperate search. It's worth it, I supposed. I, myself is one of them. Haha. Almost went out everyday in search of dress and accompany friends to find theirs. In fact, we went to the same old place but somehow tried and tried the same old dresses to make sure it's the rite one... How Cinderella..
Initially budgeted my dress to be within $100, den it dropped to $50, den I wanted it to be as cheap as possible. Haha.. No choice, who says I'm the ai pi ai qi type of person... In the end, bought a dress at 14 bucks @ This fashion, it's that cheap cos' Miszah got member card. Hair did them myself, and makeup by my mum cos' at that moment, it's better to get someone more professional to help up... I still remember the make up is last minute, but my mum was still as steady and calm when applying those cosmetics. Hehe.. Quite satisfied with the "extreme makeover", till Raine and Cheng Wei can't even recognise me. haha.. really feel a sense of satisfaction.
That nite was great, except for the lucky draws, out of 30 prizes, I got the 31st= nothing. It really sucks, am I that unlucky. Perhaps I wore all black, but Jac the same and she won a swatch watch. Argh...
The food was not that bad but the seafood soup sucks, otherwise the others are alrite especially the cereal prawns and strawberry pudding and mango cake, taste great... Hohoho... I just love food...
Everyone was eagerly taking photos that nite, perhaps to remember the "best" memories of out their poly life... How nice...
After the dinner, me, Jac and Sal went to Cineleisure to catch a movie, Date movie... Super lame, I just can't stop laughing especially at the part when the guy "self-entertain" himself so song. ahha.. He kept saying yes yes yes... I laughed too hard till I tear... Haha.. Went home @ round 3 plus, the taxi driver drove damn fast, think he speed. Haha...

Been going back to school these few days, I don't miss it but I miss the FOC printing!!! Damn it, got to know the trick recently, perhaps 2 months ago? but was printing like mad.. Colour, colour, colour... hahaha... feel real song even when I have the slightest thought of it.
Why did my friend's friend not teach us at the start of the 1st year, otherwise we can open a printing company..
Plant location: 1st branch is biz lib, 2nd branch is Main lib. hehe... Come on, the school's so rich, and they are charging us for printing? We poor lads have to innocently fork out money for project printing and stuff... We don't have a deep pocket, and even if we do, it's just a pocket and no money... Life sucks without $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I'm not all money minded but what's life without $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, there is nothing much u can do, u know, and stop denying, u are just lying to yourself...
Been doing my photo scrapbook. Damn it, I'm such a slowpoke.. Kept delaying my stuff, and might be going back to school once again to print these stuffs. Think I should type my resume. I ASSUMED I still saved a copy in the school com, but it turned out to be false assumption. F***ing disappointed cos' I have to rewrite my whole resume.. Argh, and as I know, I always delay doing things... Slow poke... Poking around... Like no one business... Pondering how... Lalala... (singing up up and away) Btw, currently no inspiration to my story... So might gotta wait till I got inspired somehow till den I will write. Hoohoo...
