Last Sunday, 8th Jan, went pre-CYN shopping with Irene. I thought of going Bugis since we already "swept" through the whole Orchard recently. That evening before (Saturday) started raining as if it's flooding the whole Lion city but the "voyage" to Port Bugis still continued.On Sunday afternoon, it's still raining. It posed no problem for us as we went for indoor shopping. It was so wonderful. We are really crazy. That day was really a shopping spree. Almost go where, buy until there. We went to all the shops in The Edge. Irene bought a skirt and me bought a top. I thought the sales assistant serving us was really a "dua pao xian" (big liar), but still there is room for improvement. She really stood up to job's name by trying very hard to convince Irene to buy the skirt. Then she used that doe-eyed look to persuade us to buy until SG$80 to earn a forever-member card. We went to Muji and Irene bought 2 mini cream chou. The staff stuffed the vanilla chou into a muji x'mas bag.
Then we went to Bugis Street. We went to the shop where Li ping and Irene bought their jeans and skirt last time. I think the price of the jeans is pretty reasonable. I bought one at SG$28. Funny thing is me and Irene mistook the sales assistant as the lady we saw last time. Haha...
We went to eat yong tau foo later. The staff in gao ji yong tau foo are really "xin nang". Talk and laugh... Those idiots gave such poor service. Still ignore Irene when she went to order the food. Clean a small table also need two person to do the job...
We finished our food and wanted to go back to seiyu. However, the rain is heavier than any time of the day. Damn it... The actual distance from KFC to Carlifonia Fitness is actually very short, however that day to us, it was a long long journey with obstacles...
Obstacle 1: We saw the green man and wanted to cross the road. But the people in front seems to be deaf and blind and they didn't move aside for us, so we gave up when the green man is counting 13..12..11..
Obstacle 2: 2nd attempt, When both of us saw the yellow light turning red, we quickly walked out.. But the idiot wind was so big that it almost blow the umbrella away. Whoa! That was close...
Obstacle 3: The water on the road was quite high. There is no way that we turn back. With no choice, We stepped the water, and braved the rain. Charge!!!
Finally, we reached the other side.
Later, we went E-spirit and nothing fancy us. Then to U2. And we bought red tank tops and camisole. On sales and quite cheap. Then we went back seiyu and see shoes. I spotted a blue wedge. It tempted me to buy it and I did. Irene said I better not stand near to her when I'm wearing that. Hahaha...
And so it was quite a day...
